Who is Chris Parsons?

Chris Parsons founded ParsonsHosting and still builds and fixes websites and runs the servers they live on. That is how ParsonsHosting works: when you open a support ticket, you reach people who build websites and run the servers, not a call center reading a script. Already have a website somewhere else? In most cases we move sites for free. Opening a ticket at https://parsonshosting.com/submitticket.php is the best way to reach us. We reply the same day, 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific, 7 days a week.

Chris has 20 years building websites and ten years running servers. He started ParsonsHosting out of frustration with hosting providers. He wanted to assure people they could have fast, secure hosting on a network where the hosting company plays an active role in supporting the websites themselves and their performance.

A real example

A fishing guide stopped paying for hosting with another company, and his website was deleted. A nice site was lost. Chris used the ParsonsHosting website builder and Wayback Machine snapshots of the old site to rebuild a new version in less than an hour.

What does ParsonsHosting do?

ParsonsHosting hosts websites and helps people finish them. There are three ways to work together, and all of them use one account for ordering, invoices, sign-in, and support tickets.

WordPress hosting, $50 to $225 a month
A WordPress site you own and keep growing. Plans are Basic $50, Business $64, Pro $96, and Elite $225 per month, with staging, backups, and WP Toolkit. Higher plans include Elementor for visual editing. See WordPress plans.
AI website builder, $28 a month
A no-code website builder in your browser. Pick a template, use the AI content generator for a first draft, edit, and publish. Hosting is included. See the website builder.
Managed website, $50 a month
A 5-page site (Home, About, Contact with a form, Blog, and one page of your choice; extra pages $50 each). If we get your questionnaire by 3:00 PM Pacific, you'll have three versions of your site to choose from the same day; questionnaires received after 3:00 PM get their three versions the next business day. Basic SEO/GEO, submission to Google and Bing, and a monthly performance report are included. Request updates by support ticket: 3 a month are included, then $25 each, and DNS fixes count as an update. We help you connect to our CDN, your email stays where it is, and an optional Content Editor is $500 one-time. Overages are $1 per GB of storage and $0.10 per GB of bandwidth. See the managed plan.

Where is ParsonsHosting located?

ParsonsHosting is based in Sisters, Oregon 97759. We work with businesses in Sisters, Bend, Redmond, and the rest of Central Oregon, and with customers anywhere in the US. Everything can happen online and by email, so you do not need to be local. In Central Oregon, we can also meet you in person, and we come to you.
